What is Affinity?

Affinity will compare two profiles and check if there is an overlap, either at an educational or work history level, within the last 10 years.  The overlap is accompanied by a score (1-5), the higher the score, the greater the overlap.

Now, when users create a role, they will see an Affinity icon on the results page against profiles for whom there is an overlap with their designated cohort (e.g., fellow employees).

In addition, we have added a new Affinity section to the candidate profile card that includes an AI-generated summary of the overlap.

Why is it important?

Affinity allows users to find trusted sources who may know the candidates they are interested in. Qualifying potential hires early in the hiring process can help companies make better hiring decisions.
